William Horton Attorney

William Horton is an attorney at Shrader & Associates, LLP. He primarily focuses his practice on cases relating to asbestos exposure. He has gone up against many powerful companies, including State Farm, and has successfully proven their negligence in court. He has appeared before the Arkansas Court of Appeals five times and has even argued before the Arkansas Supreme Court, gaining favorable results for his clients. Not only has William’s work resulted in multiple multi-million-dollar settlements, but it has also changed the architecture of asbestos litigation in Arkansas, his primary state of practice. His legal work resulted in the creation of a law that put millions of dollars in the pockets of hardworking citizens.

William is licensed to practice in Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History form the University of Arkansas in 1997 and went on to attain a Master’s Degree in Communication from the same university in 2020. Subsequently, he moved to the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he received his law degree in 2022. William continues learn and grow as an attorney by staying active within the legal community. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of American, the NW Delegate to Young Lawyers, and more.

William’s work has garnered a number of notable accolades. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Arkansas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list by Thomson Reuters from 2010 to 2015, as well as to Arkansas Super Lawyers list from 2017 to 2020. The National Trial Lawyers has named him in their Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Arkansas list, as well as in their Top 40 Under 40 in Arkansas list. He has been recognized in both the Starthmore and Marquis Who’s Who Among American Lawyers lists. The Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association has named him an Outstanding Member of the Young Lawyers Division, and the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys has listed him among their 10 Best in Client Satisfaction. He has also been recognized for his work by Courtroom View Network, who covered Shrader & Associates work on an NCAA trial where plaintiffs were seeking compensation for a USC linebacker’s brain damage.

In between his legal work, William still finds time to get involved in his community. He is a member of the NorthWest Arkansas Diabetes Kiss-A-Pig Committee, where he assists in the planning and coordination of the Kiss-A-Pig fundraiser for the Northwest Arkansas American Diabetes Association. In previous years, this event has raised more than one million dollars for the cause. William is also an active member of Rogers Noon Rotary, the Pound Institute, and is a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North West Arkansas.
