Ally Yates

Allyson Romani Partner

Allyson Romani has been a Partner at Shrader and Associates since 2009. She focuses her practice on cases involving mesothelioma, asbestos exposure, Paraquat, and other toxic exposure cases. She brings with her a unique skillset and a determination to ensure her clients receive the best outcome possible.

Before pursuing a legal career, Allyson worked as a marketing director for a large engineering firm. This experience taught her a great deal about effective communication, using various methods to appeal to target audiences. When paired with her legal expertise, this effective combination has made her an enormous asset to any case. Thanks to these skills, Allyson has generated successful outcomes for many victims of toxic exposure, and she continues her work fighting for justice for all her clients. She takes on a variety of cases, from multi-million-dollar cases, to pro-bono cases in order to give back to her community and assist those who might otherwise be unable to seek the justice they deserve.

While her practice takes her across the nation, she is licensed to practice law in Illinois, as well as in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. It is thanks to her contributions that Shrader and Associates, LLP has been able to open a second office in the state. Allyson graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois in 1999, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Speech Communication. She then attended the St. Louis University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate degree, graduating cum laude, in 2004.

Allyson is a member of the American Association for Justice, and is an Asbestos Litigation Group Chair for the organization. In this position, she networks with other attorneys in the asbestos field, sharing her considerable skills with her fellow attorneys and receiving valuable input from them in return. Her participation in this organization, along with other legal organizations such as the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, helps her to ensure that she is always providing the highest quality service possible for her clients.

Allyson’s expertise has been recognized by her clients and peers. She has been invited to speak at a number of events, most often on subjects relating to asbestos litigation. She has spoken at the American Association for Justice annual seminar, the Harris Martin Midwest Litigation Seminar, the Perring Cutting Edge Issues in Asbestos Litigation Seminar, and the Plaintiffs Asbestos Litigation Seminar. She has also been mentioned in the Madison Record and Trial Magazine for her insights into asbestos litigation and expert witness identification and preparation.
