Matt McLeod Partner

Matt McLeod is a partner at Shrader & Associates, LLP. He joined the firm in 2003 and primarily focuses on cases relating to asbestos exposure and mesothelioma. Matt has spent his career fighting for those who have been injured by toxic substances. The people he represents have frequently had a difficult journey, and it brings him much fulfillment to be able to help them achieve the outcomes they deserve. Matt has a passion for holding large companies responsible for harm they have done and fighting for justice even in the face of incredible odds.

It is no surprise that Matt has won many multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients. He has represented a diverse clientele across nearly all fifty states. With his legal acumen, he is frequently approved to practice in states he is not licensed in, on a case-by-case basis. With his expertise in representing those injured by toxic substances, he knows exactly what his clients need and how to get the results they deserve. He is driven by compassion and connection to his clients and will fight to get the justice they are owed.

Matt is licensed to practice in both Texas and Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri Columbia in 1997 and went on to attend the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University, where he obtained his law degree in 2000. He is active in the legal community and is a member of the American Association for Justice, as well as the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Matt’s extensive and impressive case results have earned a number of accolades across the years. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2014. The National Trial lawyers has also recognized him in their Top 100 Trial Lawyers list and their Top 40 Under 40 Trial lawyers list.
