Jim Hartle

Attorney

Jim Hartle has been a trial attorney with Shrader &Associates, LLP since 2017 and has been practicing law since 2012. He primarily accepts cases relating to catastrophic injury, NCAA head injuries, wrongful death, and commercial and business disputes. He is a fierce advocate for his clients and for justice. He does whatever it takes to get his clients the justice they deserve.

Jim is successful in gaining positive results for his clients. He has secured millions of dollars for his clients throughout the years, and he continues to prove his skill with notable case results to this day. His legal career began at a well-known international law firm in Houston, where he worked on cases involving both million-dollar and billion-dollar disputes. His time with this firm helped him hone his legal skills by giving him valuable experience in handling dynamic and complex cases. The experience motivated him to take on more cases where he could help people who sought justice from powerful entities. His technical skills as an attorney and his compassion make him an incredible advocate for those who have been victimized.

Jim has represented a diverse collection of clients across a variety of issues. He has represented commercial clients in situations such as an oil-tool patent holder in a patent infringement lawsuit against a rival oil-tool company. He has also spent significant time working with the families of college football players who suffered degenerative brain diseases as a result of sports-related head trauma in their fight against the NCAA for fair compensation. His success across a variety of case types is evidence of his ability to tailor his techniques to the demands of his current case.

Jim is licensed to practice in Texas, as well as in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the Southern District of Texas, and in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Philosophy, and History. He then went on to attend the University of Texas School of Law, graduating with his law degree in 2013. As a law student, Jim was already hard at work cultivating the skills that would make him into the incredible attorney that he is today. He served as a student attorney at the University of Texas School of Law Criminal Defense Clinic and was a director of the University of Texas Moot Court. He also served on the executive committee of the Pro Bono in January program.

Of his work, his fellow attorney peers say that they “have known attorney Jim Hartle since his days at the University of Texas School of Law, where he was the Chairman of the prestigious Board of Advocates. I endorse attorney Jim Hartle for his devotion to his clients, his ability to dissect complex legal problems, and his inspiring work ethic.” — Willard Clark, Lawsuits and Disputes Attorney
